What is the general consensus on changing belts, do we,

* Wait for belt to snap..

* Replace at 10k..

* Replace at 15k..

* Replace when inspection shows damage..

* Sell bike as spares or repair..

* None of the above.. : :?:

Most economical method is to change the belt 1/2 mile before it snaps.

Getting me a crystal ball off amazon. Be here wednesday but i got this feeling it will be thursday at 12.37pm.. :D . My mate "Marty" rekons in the "future" there will be a second belt fitted alongside the first belt to work as a kind of limp home mode, just to keep you moving until main belt replaced....Im not too sure myself. :roll:

...and this is just the reason that Rotorway Exec kit helicopters were grounded in the UK. I was in one at Chirk airfield when the builder was giving one a test flight after a build. 10 mins later the belt to the tail rotor bust and not only was the helicopter a write off but so was his Lancia Integrale that it landed on from about 20ft :D :D

One of your lives used up there then adam, very lucky,,, not far from me...What happened to the chap in the Lancia ?? :cry: .... Im in shawbury and some nights its like sleeping in the middle of camp bastion. Not complaining tho, they were here before me... :worthy: ... Anyway, back to the belts, wheres the best place to get one for my 06 uly..Could do with a spare one, just so i can look at it from time to time.. :shock: . Where and how much.. :?:
