I was thinking of flogging my V&H off too

I know there are better exhausts than V+H out there e.g. Albert/ pro series, but I have been using V+H cans on my M2 from day one (in 97/98 there where less options to choose from) and like them.
Some people complained of a short life of the mounting brackets (leading to scary moments), but that's not my experience
I have blown the end cap off the carbon fibre version a couple of times, mostly due to my fondness for tunnels + operation of kill switch = very loud bang and if lucky a sheet of flame to scare the car drivers - but that was me riding like a prick, not the cans fault. The end cap has been my only failures.
The V+H gives my M2 decent power (82 rw from a 97 with lightning heads!) and sounds great, spares are still available and in Buell land could be considered (nearly) a budget option. Don't get me wrong, if I did not have several V+Hs sitting on a shelf and I was starting from scratch my exhaust of choice would probably be the Albert system, but that's not where I am.
Gus, do still sell the V+H (but probably not on here ) as they still go for good money on ebay/ Facebook/ BWB

You've just bought the best bike that Buell ever made, please tell me you're not gonna fuck it up ?
You need to do some serious research into what the bike needs.....if you honestly think you can do this on the cheap then you bought the wrong bike and should've left it for someone who would really appreciate it and has deep enough pockets to make it perfect

I looked on Ebay and saw a V&H SSR2 (scabby looking) geezer wants best part of 300 quid
mine is not only better but it's 2.5 inch to go with the US spec headers that were fitted, I also have spare baffle, end cap with tail pipe and another front elbow section........got to be worth a monkey at least
