hi all, looking for some kind soul to set up the fuelling on my o6 ully, its the usual constsnt speed cough/ hesitation, its always done it,and would be great to get it sorted.my bike has breather mod k n filter holey airbox and a stealth zorst, none of these have made any difference to how it runs, mucho beer vouchers on offer,i live co durham and can bring bike to wherever, cheers!

My 06 Uly does not do that, I have much the same mods, even without a fuel device. Mine runs much like any other bike now, even from cold, but its never going to be as smooth as a Jap four for vibs. The TPS does "drift" with time/use but the last time I did mine was over a year ago and I use my bike daily.

IMO the biggest bug, dont know about the other XBs, on the Uly is the Earth problem on the rear sub-frame loom/battery post. I did loads of TPS re-sets to no avail because the ECM was not working right due to a bad Earth. One time it would run perfect and then it would run like crap. I was close to selling the bike but, luckly enough, one day it lost all electrics. After sorting the Earth problem the bike has not missed a beat since. It also starts better as well.

Take it to Maz, as he is not that far away from you, if you cant work on the bike yourself. It prob needs a good "going over" anyway. You will be aMAZed how well the bike will run once it is sorted.

Its the one next to the fuse box on the rear sub-frame. The problem is the paint on the mounting point. File the face back to metal and clean the tags before re-fitting. The fuse box has two mounts, on the long side facing the Earth mount point, which will allow the box to be lifted out/aside for better access to the Earth point.

This may not fix the problem 100%, due to other issues you may have, and you may have to do a TPS reset anyway. Its a good start anyway and a well known issue even with HD.

Best of luck.
