Made by Brembo? There was one made for older guzzis - That was a pull too.

Hmmm, just checked, actually it looks like a pusher! Sorry.

I sent my spare set of seals down to Oberon Performance (they already have the rest of my clutch parts) a couple of weeks ago. Blackrag is on the case and will give me an update next week. It might be worth giving Steve at Oberon a phone, and let him know that there might be a demand for his update kits ;)

If that is a black R with full side fairings, then saw it arrive at BB this afternoon safe on the back of a truck, my CR was having an annual check/service/oil+filter thing.

Scott, MY 1125 has had 4 sets of seals and the 'Upgrade' kit  - some fitted under Warranty, and some by myself. My last set of seals lasted 80 miles before they failed  There is no damage or scuffing to the piston or the machined faces or even the coated faces on the sleeve.

Oberon contact is:

I've always kept a spare set of seals in my stock (about £40+ approx for the 3 'O' rings and the 2 lipped piston seals but I sent these down to Oberon. When I phoned Dealers to replenish my stock, one Dealer was too busy to deal with me and said they'd phone back (they didn't  ) and the other Dealer had them in stock and got them in the post to me straight away 8-) . There's only 2 Dealers that I'd trust with getting Buell parts and I'll let you guess which was 'too busy'. If you really need to know, I'll do it by PM ;)

EBR have been consulted on this issue (about their manual cable conversion) which I built my own prototype from - it worked :D but Blackrag and his Oberon contact stepped in before I could make a properly finished and much less ugly final version, and my clutch gubbins was posted off to them :yup: 8-)

Oh yeah,.... my bike has about 7k miles on it (I have one or two bikes as well ;) ) and if you know what you're doing, stripping and rebuilding the slave cylinder will take about 1/2 hour. It's easy to do but EVERYTHING (I really mean this) MUST be surgically clean. The only 'special tool' you need is a deep socket for the sperical nut. I milled flats on my socket so I could hold it with a spanner, but holding it with Molegrips (nasty bodgers tool ;) ) would probably work.
I've only ever used the Dot 4/5.1 mineral based fluid.

Hi guys update so far design is sorted as can be, a 2 pronged approach a full kit to upgrade with and or seals, having seals made to replace the rev b upgrade seals, as you cannot buy the seals separately if you want to take that option....we start testing on June 20th as soon as I get back from Belgium... as soon as its working well it will be shipped to Adam for destruction testing, so a final result is underway...will keep you posted...on the replacement kit the leaver pull will also be slightly lighter than stock

good luck with your clutch if i can help i will, took my xb9r for a ride "first time, only round the estate as I may not be fully legal yet" Christ it felt soo good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Colin, that's very kind of you 8-) Although the manual conversion worked ok, I'm not going to bother with a carefully made MK11 which would look a little tidyer (if that's possible  lOl ) because Blackrag has a chum at a well known parts manufacturer and the've examined my clutch parts under x400 mag. They're currently 'on the case' of building a more reliable hydraulic slave. These things take time, but when they're done, they'll send it to me to road test.
If anyone can break it, I can

NO Adam if anyone can break it I CAN! :tw:
