also another thing worth thinking about...
cut the cable ties off flush , as the ends are sharp & will cut your hand :yup:
these will do the job..

Great idea & thanks for the link, those snips look the business, although I usually melt the ends with my soldering iron, end up with a ball rather than razors. That is of course if I can hold my old hands steady enough ha ha.

I use those circuit board cutters too. You don't get a sharp end if you cut tie wraps off down their length, unlike most people who cut along wide part.

Hi thanks for the help. Had another go at it found the plastic cover for the terminal, battery now fits properly the base of the battery was removable, god know why the last guy didn't do it.
