Most of the weaker stuff has been oiked out, so you get a revised oil pump and bigger crank pin, but you still have the gearbox output shaft bearing as a weakness and many have reported the fuel control system (including idle control) as a weakness and them running badly. Saying that, many haven't...

Wouldn't stop me from having one though, but if I was in your shoes I would be fixing the crank.
