Hi all,

got my xb back together after a crash a year ago.
There is a strange "clonking" noise which seems to be at the bottom of the fork assembly.
Today I noticed that there seems to be a slight movement at the point where the slider tube goes into the fork foot (not sure if this is the correct name for it).

The picture might make it easier to understand .
How are these two parts fitted together? Is the slidertube screwed into the Foot?
Is it actually possible that there is any movement?
