Hypothetical question....

Is it possible to put a Fan on an X1? i.e. from an XB?

It might come in handy in a traffic jam in Death Valley but probably not necessary here. I had an oil cooler on mine and despite a 100mph blast followed by town riding it still didn't kick in on the thermostat.

You got it ... with 40°C+ regular in the summer, my arse gets warm just on one side....yep the oil cooler side....

Take the cooler off then - My S3 runs fine even at 50ºC with none fitted. That or chuck it in the pool for a swim every so often.
