says, it's the fuel pump - it will cycle on start up and also after switch off if the bike is warm - nothing to worry about, they all do that sir !

When you turn the ignition on the system initialises itelf, the speedo indicator moves left to right and left and all the lights show and then go out ready to start up and go- at the same time what I might vaguely decsribe as an electronic wooshing type noise is emitted - fine - however this noise has started happening after i turn the ignition off and take the key out - any ideas why....dru |

Fuel pump maintains rail pressure on a hot engine. |

As says, it's the fuel pump - it will cycle on start up and also after switch off if the bike is warm - nothing to worry about, they all do that sir !
