my XB9R is not well at all. it starts ok and intermittently runs ok, but more often than not, misfires, goes off a cylinder, wont rev up at all and generally runs like a bag of shite! will it be the ecu? any ideas? |

Check your earth to the engine for corrosion (under the airbox there is a bonding strap across the stabiliser bar) and a TPS reset would be a good idea too. ECMs generally work or they don't on individual circuits (or the are just dead). |

Dont forget to check the plug leads. Chaffed leads on XB's are very common but this normally shows itself when riding in damp or rainy conditions, still worth checking |
