Went out today and bike started fine, ran it to the shops. came back and starter spins but does not engage to turn the motor. I am guessing that a solenoid engages the starter drive cog to the clutch basket to turn the motor. There is no click it just seems that the starter is spinning free. Managed to get the bike to a friends house. Any ideas what to look for when I go back with some tools?
