The brake light is on the whole time whether the either brake is on or off XB Ully where to start ? |

do you know if it's front or rear switch ? try unplugging the front switch , which IIRC has small female spade terminals if its still on try unplugging the rear one |

Disconnect each switch in turn... Check the brake light... |

Washed the bike recently ? Or been riding in rain ? Check that water hasn't collected in the "well" where the wiring goes into the rear brake switch - it happened to me. If so dry it out and fill it with something to stop water from getting in ... |

interestingly the brake light is working perfectly whilst ignition is switched on but a racing pulse effect when the motor is running front or rear brake applied ? |

Sounds like a dodgy connection. In any case, here's 3 simple things to check... - Bulb (both filaments need to be working. One for tail light, one for breaking - Fuse (think it's the 'AAC' one) - Connections to the light unit - there's 3 wires leading to the light unit and mine went a bit 'pulsey' after doing my bomber conversion... ...nothing at all to do with my insufficient wiring ![]() |
