Right I've just bought myself my first buell a 2005 xb9sx and am loving her! Everything was fine until one day went to start it and nothing! everything on the dash fires up like normal apart from the neutral light which won't come on now, the only way it starts now is if I hold the clutch in. Being new to the buell scene I'm sure it's something simple but just need a bit of advice Cheers all |

have a look at the wiring under the cover by the front pulley as you can get chaffed wires there |

It could just be corrosion where the wire plugs on the neutral switch which is located behind the front pulley, if so a clean up will cure it . The X1 light plays up at the moment ....works when cold but not when Hot ![]() |
