:yup:

Can one be sent to EBR if it has not been done already? EBR may be interested in marketing it in the US (as they do LSL).

Thanks Ray/Adam etc for your involvement with this, and praise to Oberon for developing it for such a niche market. Is it an built to order part or will they stock them? I have Oberon bar end mirrors and indicators on mine and they're nice bits of kit. (and you can see behind lOl )

Shaws HD (and I'm sure many others) can get the stators rewound. Willy's developing his bits (in a non sexual fashion)

At this rate 1125s might even start to become viable :P :yup:

I can't take any credit for developing this - all I did was moan about how shite the Rotax unit was lOl The hard work was done by Steve and Ray, I was just a guinea pig lOl

Bear in mind, a set of OEM seals (which fail  ) is nearly half the price of the complete Oberon slave unit. The big picture on the Oberon site doesn't do the unit justice, there's a phos bronze/ptfe radial bearing that keeps the piston square in the bore, and that seems to sort out the root of the problem :yup:
Apart from that, it's beautifully made 8-)

It may be worthwhile pointing out that the puck may not fit 08 models - the clutch cover was revised in 09 and is larger - it looks bigger to me, and if it was modelled after the one on BlackRag's 09 CR ...

Except any 08 bike thats done any miles will already have the later clutch cover fitted.

Not mine - had the clutch leak fixed twice - and neither time did they change the cover.

I think the only advantage of fitting the later cover was to hide the problem for longer - it could hold more clutch fluid before it started leaking externally ...

Flourescent yellow - with "Not a fecking Austro-Milwalkee part" or "Made in the UK 'cos it works" engraved on it.

Ordered mine from Oberon. I think I was the first! Easy online ordering, delivered in a couple of days, looks a quality item, top service. Once it's fitted and I've done a few miles on it I'll report back
