Here's a weird one for you

Bike ticking over in neutral on sidestand. Pull clutch in and out and speedo sweeps up an down to 20-30mph. WTF??? Need to test it with stand up to see if I get same effect. It also sometimes cuts out on sidestand while ticking over or revved a bit in neutral, and then won't re-start until sidestand is retracted.Got a feeling it may be a faulty sidestand/clutch switch or possibly both.

Tuber M2 Cyclone by the way - and otherwise it runs fine

Any suggestions?

What is the simplest way to by pass them without causing problems?

I know they work via those two diodes so a bit reluctant to hack the loom

I believe the connectors are AMP Multilock and are available from RS.

Cut the wires, solder together, shrinkwrap with silicone inside it and cover with self amalgamating tape :yup:

I did this on my Cagiva Xtra Raptor, without knowing that when pulled in, the clutch switched the ECU to a different map :) That was an interesting one to solve lOl
