Replaced blown voltage reg on my X1 about 6 months ago. Not used the bike much since. Now reg is blown again. Checked alternator as per manual and all found to be to spec.
Earths all good. Charged battery a week ago and still holding charge (sitting in the shed) and starting the bike repeatedly, so battery seems ok.
Any ideas if something else might be wrong and causing the reg to fail or is it likely to just be a duff reg (Accel). The previous reg had been full of water when it blew.
