Nick hi Nick on MLV with field naming ECU on auto default setting On the four graphs you have options to display data with a drop down list of 70+ ie Gego, load, vecurr1, spark1, BAS ADC. it is these that im looking for the meaning some appear to show same graph data o2 and 02.adc but different values at the mo i just use Gego , load , rpm , o2 , AFV Mat , CLT, fan duty accel corr. on one of yours or Gunters i've seen speed ? |

Which abbreviations do you want? Pash! Not sure if my butting in here is acceptable but I am seeking an answer to the question posed . Some are obvious, others are not. philip.tobin is away on holidays and I am inpatient by nature. I would like to watch the Throttle Position (TP) Sensor Cam Position (CMP) Sensor Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Engine Temperature (ET) Sensor Oxygen (O2) Sensor Bank Angle Sensor (BAS) Which abreviations represent these components in MLV ? Sorry to bother you,and Thanx. Alf |

Hi Alfie It is not MLV that names your parameters, but ECMSpy when it logs. So, I am assuming you are using ECMSpy for Mono. Throttle Position (TP) Sensor = Load - 0-255 IIRC Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor = MAT - in deg. C Engine Temperature (ET) Sensor = CLT - in deg. C Oxygen (O2) Sensor = O2 - in Volts Bank Angle Sensor (BAS) = BAS Voltg. - in Volts What do you want to see from Cam Position (CMP) Sensor? |

So, I am assuming you are using ECMSpy for Mono. Still feeling my way here, I haven't activated ECMSpy for mono yet because the activation is for one device only. I haven't been able to do much more than read about it.I have downloaded and registered, all I have to do is donate to activate and probably update my beat-up old laptop, which is Currently running ECMSpy V.1.12.27 . That version of ECMSpy logs and works well with MLV. Is there any real advantage for me to upgrade to ECMSpy for Mono ![]() ![]() |

al_f_au wrote: That version of ECMSpy logs and works well with MLV. MLV is an excellent tool to watch logged data. But aside from the fact that I stopped using MLV for analysis even with the most recent logs (as the algorithm used is unknown and non-customisable in the latest version), the old log format misses some output the MLV software relies on, to differ closed loop from open loop and other conditions (accel, decel, warmup ...) that should not be taken into account when trying to improve fuelling. I never achieved sufficient results using MLV's VE analyzer. In most cases values started overshooting, so I had to measure and adjust manually again in the end - which seemed no real advantage to me over not using MLV. That's why I decided to add the average maps to EcmSpy for Mono and 'My Maps' to the website, as it was easier for me to know how far a cell is off and adjust it accordingly, than getting told how the new cell value might or might not be. |

Gunter , ECMSpy question. I have two ECMs, the original, BUEKA210 and the race, BUEIA112. Will one donation for ECMSpy for Mono cover both types , or will I need to select two ![]() |
