Hi Guys,

New Boy here, been lurking for a long time but signed up now. Had my Uly from new for 5 years now and still loving it but she's in need of a few new bits. Discovered a weep from I think the rear shock but not had a chance to fully investigate yet. Anyone had similar problems? Bike is an 06 model on 07 plate with 30,000 fairly hard (nearly all done touring Europe) miles on her so I guess it's about time for a new shock. Battery is also fecked, so any recommendations for new bits, or is there someone on the board who supplies these parts as I'd be happy to line their pockets rather than some anonymous company.

AST for the rear shock ....excellent quality .....not cheap but worth it ....PM Ronnie on here.

Thanks for the tip Kev, I'll see how I get on with it, working on it today so I'll find out what's wrong with a bit of luck!

Mottobatt battery on ebay £45, for info i tried a Hagon shock on mine and it was quite a bit harder than the standard one so i went back to the standard shock,i think its a much better ride.
