I was talking to a bloke yesterday who races Classics (a lot have f/glass tanks) and the stuff they rave about to protect against modern fuels is called something like Splooge? Available from Draganfly M/Cs - A BSA specialist. They advertise in Classic mags, so to get contact details you'll have to visit WH Smiths

 Thanks Adam . Im off to a Scot meet(you know that old 600cc 2stroke)on Monday night I will ask the old lags if they have used it .

Still reckon a carbon cover over the fuel tank is the way to go then paint it |
