Hi, I'm just about to tune my 2005 Xb12s
I plan to fit a Buell twin outlet "race" silencer to replace the scabby standard one, along with a k&n filter to replace the current manky one, I know all this is supposed to be fitted along with the race ecm, or a remapped original ecm. I have an ecm cable & some downloaded maps, BUT, I cannot find any maps for the 2005 Xb12s Race ecm, Ive found most years but not 2005!!
Does anyone have any ideas?
I've read most of the ecm posts, but can't see the answer I need.
I guess that copying the map from a bike with a similar setup/year would work, if anyone has one handy to copy.
Or am I barking up the wrong tree.
I'm also going to modify the breather, so the new filter doesn't fill up with oil
I've now got it up & running correctly (couldn't get it to idle the first time 
) & I'm well pleased with the results 
next job will be tidy up the back end.
