help. tues night battery started to have trouble turning over firebolt engine ,by thursday it was no go.i have just fitted new battery and all works except no nuetral light or starter motor .any ideas ,all fuses good |

I'd guess that if there's no neutral light, the bike thinks it's in gear, so no starter motor. I'd start with the neutral wiring, or even just loose battery connections |

Same thing happened to me. Light sanding of the connections to the battery sorted it out. |

disconnected battery ,cleaned terminals,reconnected and still nothing.no neutral light ,no starter motor but everything else works |

Yes Mr. Bonz.......if the bike is in gear it should start with the clutch pulled in. |

it gets better.checked relays,still nothing,suddenly a bright idea.i bought bike from a dealer and just in case extended warranty which runs out a week tomorrow.guess what dealer gone bust and warranty people dont want to know |
