You are supposed to be able to see the header tank level from the front of the R/H scoop but is easier to take it off. :headbang:

Draw a Full line on the tank with a marker pen. It makes looking up the gills a bit easier (with a torch)

it's only a 5 min job to remove pod cover and not needed too often as apart from topping up on delivery my CR has never needed water or oil topping up in 11000 miles.
look at the manuals in the download section for all your maintenance needs ;)

Mine came with non in the reservoir, which I noticed when I got the bike home - apparently after a check by the then local dealer.

Also if and when you change your coolant - change it to a coolant which is dark in colour this too makes it easier to read

I heard a rumour that someone had backlit the reservoir with an LED to make it easy to see in the stupid viewing button and therefore quick. Anyone? Class?
Maybe I will just do it and see if it works. I'll let you know if successful.
