Some months ago I was on my way to Lauwe in Belgium for the Buell meeting, when as I slowed down on the M20 for 'Early Arrivals' just before the Eurotunnel, I noticed the oil pressure light illuminate but flickered before finally going back off as revs were increase to approx 1500 RPM. At idle the oil pressure lioght remained solidly ON. As the engine was mechanically very quiet, no doubt because Tubbs

had only just put it together approx 800 miles earlier, I naturally assumed that it was a dodgy oil pressure switch. When I got home, having covered about 400 miles and a mad thrash following Banjo, I fitted another new oil pressure switch, changed the oil and filter and was amazed to have the same symptoms repeat itself. Another oil pressure switch later, same thing so time to get Tubbs to check it out.
But prior to that I had already checked oil flow through the Metmachek oil tank (more oil capacity and better heat transfer) which flowed very freely, even at tick over, already fitted with an X1 oil pump with uprated gear drive and correctly aligned. Oil temp normal and still nice and quiet at all revs.
Any ideas Peeps?
