Found this very useful write up here :
viewtopic.php?f=17&t=5599&hilit=steering+head+bearing

& just got a quote from Warr's HD for a steering head bearing kit @ £75.43

So... checked elsewhere and found this on fleabay for around £30 :

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/270935013038? ... 833wt_1398

Anyone know if there is any reason for buying the HD part at more than double the price ..? :?:

Many thanks !

Harley ones are Timken. Get the part numbers from the useful info thread in the how to section then order from Bearing King. About £25 for the pair.
