The spring has broken on my tensioner why would this happen and what is the dix please.

damn this FS tensioners, there seems to be some real technical problems with them, lets see, broken springs, broken central pivot body, worn out spindle

they dont get looked after properly ,they need a greese nipple and a transfer drilling to feed greese to the bearing and not many actually work on the bikes ive had a tug on cuz they have dried up fucking solid

I've been thinking on doing a main body and fitting a roller bearing to it, but didn't think on doing a grease feed to it, thanks willy

if we take it apart and grease it up the same time we change back tyre 3-5k then it should last :?:
not sure on the spring may be renew it the same time or every 2nd tyre change :idea:

this is my version ,i just drill transfer hole from the top to a sutable place to fit a nipple ,recon you can work out how ive done it ,if not ill do a drawing mate
