Why only an O2 sensor in the rear header on my X1 ?
I assume as there's only one choke feeding both cylinders, we can also assume the fueling and everything else is working the same on both cylinders ?

Forgive my ignorance :oooops:

cost
or could it be that the rear cylinder is the one that will run the hottest (lack of direct airflow)and if we look after that one the front should be ok

:yt: plus it allows a leaner front map (with corresponding ignition timing map) for efficiency at cruise...

But it has its downsides too...

Thanks fella's. :) Pash do you mean it allows a leaner front map, with corresponding ignition map, if it' re-mapped. Or is it already mapped that way ?

Cheers,
Mick.

Not sure on the X1 but the XBs yes.

:? Yes the XB is mapped that way, or you can map it that way?

Mapped like that... But there are shortcomings...

O.K. thanks. I was just curious.
I'd rather run a bit rich than lean.
I've never owned a bike with an O2 sensor before. Or FI, thinking about it!

Thanks for the replies.
Cheers,
Mick.

No no, honest, it's all new to me. I work on boats.

Had some fun tonight in my Mates garage though ;) (Mines not built yet, so I'm borrowing one)

It's a rusty piece of shite I bought! lOl I'm still adding lightness :)
