I'm having trouble with the fuel filler cap on my S1 which is having a makeover (as they say on daytime TV), it's fiddly to get off and doesn't always line up properly when being opened. Does anyone know of a replacement that is available ? I've checked about but can't seem to find anything. Oberon do some nice ones for Ducatis, Hondas etc. but sadly not for Buells.

I saw this myself and exchanged a few emails with the guy and did consider it, but decide against, it's a used item and I thought it might present similar problems to those I have. I've contacted Newton Equipment as suggested by Pash, they are supplying a complete new filler, flange etc. it's on it's way now.

I had an issue with my filler cap on the S1. The D hole in the saddle had become an O. Nothing else wrong with the cap, so shame to junk it.

A quick email to Newton Equipment confirmed this part is available seperately, part number SAD4, about a tenner plus VAT and P&P.

Funnily (or not) enough, my filler has just started playing up also. It was becoming a bastard to remove, almost as though it had grown, so I trimmed some of the plasic off with a knife and it's ok now.
