Get a voltmeter across the battery and look what its reading when you press the starter. Sounds like you've got a cell down. Had this on the xb12s. Battery would fire the bike when freshly charged but leave it a week it would give exactly the same symptons as yours. If its the origional battery you've not done bad. Mine was goosed after four years. Hope this helps |

battery new in july only done about 100 miles since then jon will check tomo uly only done 3600 miles from new no power on the start button all i got on the dash is the full beam no power to anything else |

Oxide build up on battery terminals? May not be readily apparent! But then if the main beam works? Bad connection elsewhere or relay as Pash says? |
