US EBay for a brand new standard one or PM Ronnie for an AST. Or http://item.mobileweb.ebay.it/viewitem? ... 2571741862 Secondhand ones will be past their best by now. |

Do you not think it is a damping issue? |

These people did my X1 about four years ago and it's been good ever since, they charged about £100 but postage there and back cost a further £80 so £180 all in http://www.falconshockabsorbers.co.uk/fcontact.htm |

Cheers By altering the pre load, you're not making it 'harder' or 'softer', the spring rate is what it is, unless it's progressively wound. I once experienced a 'rebuilt' shock on a Buell and it was a complete waste of money, going from one extreme to the other on the damping made very little difference ![]() Falcon have a poor reputation in the Off Road world, it's not unknown for them to leak almost from new. Two things you can do are; 1. Don't take pillions - bikes don't handle 2 up ![]() 2. Buy a AST shock - the best thing you can ever bolt on to a Buell ![]() |

Buy a AST shock - the best thing you can ever bolt on to a Buell I have one on mine, ask anyone who has one. It a transforms the handling. |

Just too add to that, because the AST controls the rear end far better, the rear tyre will last far longer. |

I recently had a price from AST for a M2 Shock which is exactly what it was. A bit of a shock at £768. Was looking around and saw these guys...anyone ever used their rebuild service ( from £99.99 ) ? http://www.brooksuspension.co.uk/shock- ... tAodRUcALg |
