Having just replaced the rusting eyesore that was the stock exhaust with a shiny stainless one am having difficulties lining the belt up correctly with the idler pulley.
Obviously the axle and pinch bolt were loosened off to allow removal of the pulley. Was tightening everything up (with correct torque settings from the manual) and noticed that the belt wont sit squarely on the idler wheel. Its about 1cm off despite the fact that the pulley is snug against the frame of the bike??
Didnt use a paddock stand when tightening up axle, would this make any difference?

That doesn't sound right. Have you rotated the rear wheel in a forwards direction?

Thanks pash! I thought I did something up wrong but just snagged the belt during the re assembly. Once I rolled it forwards all was good...
