Hi a problem started last year with my xb9s. when the idle go to 1300 on tick over, the bike won't pull the skin of as rice pudding as it misses but when the idle is at about a 1000 is runs perfect. if I turn the bike off & on, the bike runs ok for a while then returns back to missfire afew mins later. the bike can go 20 miles without a missfire problem from cold but equal can start after 5 miles

i've reset the TPS, no joy ! I've replaced the lamba sensor & thought I crack it as bike ran good for 100 miles but then it return to misfire  I've replace the ecu & guess what it ran good for 200 miles but then goes back to missing if the tick over rises to 1300 !! there's no side stand switch problem as been modified, I've checked the front cylinder HTC lead & is fine. :ill:

anybody who had the same problem could help me out ? or anyone who know there stuff would be very helpful too !!

Check the intake seals are Ok ....spray some wd40 where the manifold connects to the heads whilst the bike is ticking over , if the engine revs change you know the seals are knackered. ( be careful you don't spray into the air intake whilst doing it).

I'll try it over weekend but wouldn't the bike missfire most of the time if the seal was knackered ? bike run 85% okay with the intermittent missfire kicking now & again
