Had a look in the search facility , but could not find any info on 1998 S1 tacho problems. Mine started flicking about a bit then stopped completely. Are there any problem areas to look at or are they unserviceable as the manual suggests. Ta. |

Try connecting it directly to the coil and bypassing the pink wire |

Swaped rev counter over with one off my other bike and it works fine, so is the dead one fixable or fecked? Anyone with a spare out there? |

Thanks for this fix. My tacho started to do the needle dance on a tour of the Wiltshire Horses last weekend. Did a search, found this thread, job done. |
