HI, I did a post not long ago, the title was my Buell was running really shit, at the time it was running a really bad exhaust, pipe across filter, air box eliminator and a remus powerizer. The bikes done 900 miles since new, it's been ridden about 3 miles, it run so badly, back fire-ing and didn't think it was any faster than my last standard XB 12 SS Long.

Right this is my problem.

Fitted albert exhaust, new standard filter and standard air box. Removed the remus powerizer so all back to lovely and standard apart from the the albert exhaust, which I have to say is absolutely lovely.
Also the exhaust is fitted with a baffle. From what I understand it will need re mapping and I need someone who can re map it for me. It's about time I started using this stunning bike.

What's happening at the moment, it starts perfect, ticks over fine, a touch of the throttle up to 2000 revs 3 or 4 pops and bangs, the odd sneeze every now and again.

Hope someone can help.

I don't want to take it to Harley, they rape me every time I buy some parts.

Cheers Paul

Do a search, I did a post about how to get rid of the popping and banging with ECMSpy.

3 miles is not long enough to warm the engine so you can't really expect good performance.

:yt: At least double that is needed to get the motor warmed through. It's a big old lump of metal lOl

(and the Emporium is just down the road from you, it'll save you a lot of frigging about lOl )

best bet pop and see :maz: at the Emporium :yup:
might just need a set of plugs if it's been stop start alot and not warmed up and taken for a decent run ,(they can be prone to fouling plugs )
TPS reset and possible AFV reset , then a good ride when it's warmed up, in the closed loop area and the ECU should re-adjust it's self (AFV value) if needed to your new set up .
then if the things running somthing like you can start playing with maps and other fuel correction settings / tables
