No worries Gents my master cylinder is ok. ![]() I had fitted a hydraulic brake light switch to the top of it and changed the OE hose for a Goodridge then couldn't get a brake. I tried elevating the calliper, back bleeding it and all manner of ways but because I couldn't get any pressure at all I thought I would need a kit ![]() In the finish I pulled the switch out and noticed the holes were tiny compared to the OE banjo bolt and the switch type banjo was half as long again as the OE banjo. I fitted my original banjo and got a brake straight away. My fault for buying a cheap switch. I will now look at a better switch. Thanks foe your time ![]() |

The XB switches are nice, but plated. The Goodridge stainless ones wont discolour but they don't come with the fancy rubber boot... |

The one up the road from me made me up lines including stainless fittings, to my spec and all from stock and there and then. The brake switch was ordered at the same time, I collected it the next day. Better still was the price. ![]() |

I can't find the old invoice for the rear which would include switch, but I think it was about £18. I have still got the invoice for the double disc front lines. Banjo bolts single £3.35 each copper washers £0.30 each lines and labour £10 for both. all plus VAT. All Goodridge stainless. The guy took 5 or 10 minutes to assemble. |
