Just wondering, does your front brake drag a little?
I've just had (a few weeks back) new tyres fitted to the wheels on my XB12S (I took them in loose) and at the same time had the bearings replaced.
Now, this was the first time I'd had the front wheel off of the bike, and as such, the first time I'd lifted the front of the bike off of the ground and had a chance to spin the wheel.
I noticed there's a fair bit of brake drag. I can spin with a spoke and get about 1 to 1.5 rotations then the wheel stops. I didn't spin the wheel before removing it, so can't compare.
I don't know if it always did this and I'd not noticed when wheeling the bike around.
Is this normal?
The lever feels fine and the brakes work well.
Thanks for any input.

Has the spacer been crushed with the bearing renewal. Try taking the pads out and spinning the front wheel whilst on paddock stands. Is it silky smooth and spins forever, if so as pash said possible sticking brake pistons. Is the caliper torqued up correctly ?

Thanks guys.
Caliper torqued correctly.
I guess I'll keep my eyes open for a replacement spacer, just in case.
The pads are getting close to needing changing too, so this could be the time to do it.

Strip your caliper, clean and polish the pistons, replace if pitted, clean the seals using brake fluid and a rag, replace if damaged, use a dremel with brass wire brush to clean the seal recesses (if dirty), line recesses with castrol red rubber grease, apply the same grease to the seals then reassemble...
A ballache I know, but if the brake is dragging cos of the pistons not returning, pushing them in to fit new pads will wreck the seals and make it worse...
