Hi folks,
I have a white 2010 model 1125 CR which does have the sight glass and 3 bearing wheel etc. It has 18000 miles on it and been reliable thus far. Whilst in Skye my drive belt snapped. I think it was an exhaust bolt that backed off through the idler. This stopped the idler as there is a small flat spot and presumably the belt has worn through. So I don't blame the belt.
I sourced a replacement through Jersey HD with what research seemed to indicate as being the right part G0500.1ATB. On fitting tonight this seems a bit tight even before tensioning the axle. It's like a tooth or 2 too short. Edinburgh HD wouldn't entertain me they stated there wasn't even one in Belguim
Can somebody confirm this is the right belt? If not it probably mean a bit difficulty in sourcing the correct belt?
Thanks
Ian

Check the number again. GO500.1ATA is 149 tooth belt for the 1125CR and GO500.1AMF is 145 tooth for the 1125R
Part number GO400.ATB is the rear sprocket for a CR
I replaced my belt at about 11000 miles because I took the bike to Europe and didn't want any hassle, and yes it was fecking tight to fit.
You've done well to get 18000 trouble free miles :yup:

Thanks for that. Was looking, I suppose, for confirmation that new belt was tight. The axle will tension it but was worried, it just seems a bit too tight!
The .1ATB seemed to be the updated belt as the web site stated it superseded the .1ATA. Guess I'll just go for it.
Cheers

New belts are very tight on the 1125's
