Hi, After reading various posts about the ECMSpy software I've decided that I don't have the experience, knowledge, confidence or a PC to do it! (I own a Mac). So I'd like to get someone else to do it for me. It's something I would like to have done as I've read it will stop the popping and banging that I get (assuming the exhaust is causing that) but mostly help for a smother ride when riding slow, in traffic for example it's hard not to look like I have kangaroo juice in it. I have been told by a couple of people Pash is the man to do it but according to Goggle maps he's 172 miles away so I was wondering is there anyone in Essex-ish who can too? A friend of mine has a friend at a Harley shop in Surrey (I think) and he said he would be able to do it but I'm a bit reluctant to let anyone do it unless they know exactly what they are doing and have done Buells before as I can live with it happily as it is rather than it get worse or feck it up! Any help suggestions welcome... Cheers Pete |

Thanks for the replys guys. Yeah I did see it (thanks for the link also), but it's stuff like this that's the reason I want someone who know's what they're doing to do it... "Warning - ECMSpy is a powerful tool. In inexperienced hands, it can result in your ECM being rendered useless." I'm not great when it comes to this kind of thing and I'd be gutted if I fudged it up! This one I'd have a go at! 08 and later Buells The 08 and later have a completely different procedure and doesn’t need ECMSpy. Turn the ignition on, engine kill switch to run, twist the throttle 3 times - keep the throttle fully open for one second and fully closed for one second. |

The TPS reset really is a very simple procedure , when you've done it or watched it being done you'll wonder why you even worried about it. |
