I have a mate who has a little used X1. The other day he fires it up all ok only to find after a short trip when he pressed the starter button it tripped the circuit breaker which did reset after a while only to repeat when the button was pushed again, obviously it had a starter motor fault maybe solenoid problem any ideas or things to try before pulling the whole thing apart. |

Is this the rectangular metal can under the back edge of the seat. It has two terminals with nuts to fix the wires? I thought this was a fuse . Interesting if it can reset. I wanted to blame it for my flat battery assuming a fuse I gave up on that theory. I noticed that the terminals are named. Its important they are refitted the way suggested in manual. One is BAT the other AUX. I'm on train. Bike not running.battery troubles. |
