New set of plugs and leads and now all good
must remember to let it get to temp to stop the plugs fowling!

Hi All, I recently purchased an XB12S, delivered a few weeks ago started fine and took it out for a spin. So i parked it in the garage where it has been since then. So yesterday i went out to start her up and she wouldnt idle and sounded like it was running on 1 cylinder. i read a lot about a tps reset so off i went and connected up ecmspy and clicked on reset tps. Now it wont start at all... any ideas anyone? maybe i screwed it click the TPS reset but i didnt push any other buttons. Cheers john |

Thanks Gunter, mine is an 09 model so really i shouldnt of connected the ecmspy and also i have the wrong version right? the version i have does not look like the "mono' one from the second link and is labelled v1.12.1 thanks john |

If you have a later model which does not require some software for a tps reset, then I would try another reset according to the user's manual. Maybe this will fix the problem. |
