that's unfortunate ![]() You could try giving Southampton HD a call; they are getting rid of their Buell spares and may still have a belt??? Good luck ![]() |

thats ![]() I had a stone in the belt (with all guards still in place)when i just got my 12s (not such a big one luckly ,but it made a hole) that belt is still doing well afther more that 20000 km ,but always have a spare with me on longer rides. I would look at the rear sprocket and idler wheel and remove the sharp edges! the front is from steel ,so probably not much to see. |

Phoned Steve at Riders of Bristol (0117 958 8777) very helpful, they had in stock and belt on its way at £199.99 incl p&p next day delivery and UKBEG discount. Painful on the wallet but very easy to order, cheaper belts such as the Panther were almost the same price elsewhereafter delivery added. Will look to fit next time back in UK. From conversation it seems that they are getting quite a lot of Buell business now that other dealers are shying away from this. |

Interesting comment. Riders weren't a premier league Buell dealer back in the day, but equally they weren't openly hostile like some were to the brand. I'm glad they have seen trade pick up now that everyone else has lost interest. Good luck to them, they deserve the business for supporting Buell and offering a decent discount. |

But sadly I don't think it will last forever, they're just taking longer to make that 'commercial decision'. |

If they're getting a decent turnover at a fair margin, there shouldn't be any decision to stop, perhaps. They get plenty of publicity here and on FB. Ofcourse, things change, as evidenced by ASB shutting down. |

The parts manager in Bristol is a family friend and when I asked him if he would help us out, he was only too pleased to do so... Things do change though and if he ever left, the service may suffer, but until then let's enjoy the ride... |

You may wish to make the point on the forum that as long as we can order buell spares we will.
