Am I being paranoid?
I bought an 2001 M2 Cyclone a few months ago, and along with a few other items I changed the front rubber isolator (the updated, larger diameter bolt design).
After a conversation, I've now been made aware that the front bracket that the mounting bolts to should be changed because they're prone to failure with catastrophic results.

Is this a common occurrence? Was it only early models that suffered from this?

Slightly worried now.......

OK, I'm convinced.
Any idea what my options are for a replacement?

Good move. Good choice of bike, by the way.

Thanks, the M2 is the bike I should have bought years ago - love it!

Is Andy (spondon440) still making the mounts? I've tried send a PM, but no response. Does anyone hold stock?

How deep and dark?

Just above sea level, next to a cider farm, halfway between Yeovil and Taunton.
Ok, so not that deep, and not actually dark......
