| Post subject: | M2 shock |
Hi,just bought a tidy M2 to go with the s1's and the shock is effed. Just wondering what my options are? Its a 2000 model and has a shock without a remote reservoir and my mate has a 2001 with remote reservoir so wondering if it has had its recall?. Failing that, can it be rebuilt or am I into an aftermarket replacement?. Anyone got any suggestions? Regards Grimbuellist |

Or Penske......although not as good as AST and around the same price......several companies offer rebuilds but don't waste ya dosh because the standard shock is NOT re-sealable and it WILL fail again. |

Have no experience my self with the works performance shock ,but this would be my second option after the ast shock, http://m.ebay.com/itm/Buell-rear-pull-s ... nav=SEARCH Ast has a very long waiting time when ordering a shock and their response time is bollocks to. |

Compared to the wait on a holt tank it would be minutes. If you need it , buy it. |

I had one of these 'rebuilt' shocks. I'm just grateful they remembered to put the spring back in because they certainly forgot to put any oil in there. Complete waste of money. |

I believe that B-035 were the recall numbers that related to rear shocks but Maz will know more. Don't pin your hopes on it... |

You may be in luck, I just found this page.(click for full detals) Make : BUELL Model : ALL EXCEPT BLAST Year : 2000 Manufacturer : BUELL MOTORCYCLE CO.
