hoping an expert can throw some light on this my bike has what seems like a candle for a headlight I've read forums about light mods were you can have both lights on but one is full beam so not really what I wanted from what I've read their is no way to have both lights on as dipped beam is their anything I can do were I could do the mod and have a less powerful bulb in the full beam or a bulb upgrade for the dipped I'm also 20 and have limited knowledge on mechanics but will have a go cheers |

it could be the silver reflective backing inside the lamps has come off ?... HD did a recall years ago for exchanging them ,on mine the HD dealer put them in incorrectly the wrong side even though they are marked left & right go figure but they never were a bright light at night TBH i think people have tried HID conversions but the space on the xbr is a bit tight good luck |

Unfortunately the headlight on a Firebolt is Rubbish! I have a NOS unit to put in to see if that improves it...... I'd be interested if anyone has had any level of success with either higher power bulbs (halogen) or some reliable LED equivalents that aren't going to melt stuff. I suspect I'll just have to continue riding something else in the dark! |

Hey I don't sell them but I do like them. Have a look at Rigid industries Dually LED lights. They do little ones for bikes, take little power and loads of grief. They aren't cheap but they do work. Have a look on YuoTube. I use them on a boat and they do take shock loads and vibration. |

On the other-hand Chiz procured me a 6 foot double florescent light for my summerhouse so I can see what I am doing when I next work on his bike. He may have another but they would be a hassle if you filtering in traffic. |
