It should pull straight off. It may be being retained by the keyway. |

Yes I also thought it would pull off easily but it is solid. I noticed that the securing bolt thread was loctited so I'm wondering if the loctite has bled and glued it into place - I think I will try some heat on the face of the rotor and try and melt the loctite as the next step. Thanks Mike. |

Ok sorted now - confusingly the rotor has a metric thread (M6) in the middle so it's an easy job to tighten a M6 bolt in against the camshaft and off it comes... I assume that Buell sourced the ignition components from somewhere in far-east hence the metric thread... |
