I bet most of you didn't even know you had one!

Elusive fuel starvation on my M2 that got worse last week forcing a 50mph trundle home eventually led me to pulling out this little black ballcock out of the tank. no amount of bashing on the bench would get it to work effectively so I put it in the lathe and turned the bottom out enough to get the steel ball out and drill out the valve/spring in the hope that leaving most of it in place will produce a little baffling. So.... If any of you have had this issue do you run your bike without one? got a generic inline one or bought a gen in-tank replacement?

I had the same on my S1, ended blowing back through it and shaking it and it came back to life.
