Check the return port in the master cylinder.....does the bike have non standard lever ?......I wouldn't be riding it again until this is sorted ! |

A lot of aftermarket levers don't allow the piston in the M/Cyl to come back far enough. Never trust what sellers say on Ebay! |

Happened to a friend over here when he put shorty levers on, he ground to a halt halfway through a tunnel, with a glowing front disc. I had levers like that fitted for me once by a local 'expert', ground to a halt on a very busy dual carriageway, unable to move it backwards or forwards. Fortunately I was riding with a friend who realised I wasn't behind him and came screaming back to find out what had happened. Luckily I had the original levers stuffed down my jacket (throw nothing away, me ) and he refitted them at the roadside for me! |

The same thing happened to me the first time I tried the bike after buying it. The previous owner said he only rode the bike once and didnt like it,I now know why. With help from Maz the heel part of the lever was found to be the culprit. |
