I need a Mikuni flat slide ultrasonically cleaned and checked out. Have recently been quoted 8/10 weeks :? Does anyone have any recommendations of companies used?

Buy a ultrasound bath and DIY?

Out of interest what was the cost of a professional job?

8-10 weeks, they’re pulling you leg. It takes less than an hour😂

My apologies, I’ve no constructive advice as I’ve never had it done :D Some years ago I bought one of those very cheap ultrasound jewellry cleaners from Aldi. It works well on small stuff like jets and switchgear, but it’s too small for a carb.

I picked up a secondhand 3 ltr one that is identical to the Allendale , and it makes an amazing job of cleaning carbs , I bought the Carb cleaning solution which you dilute 10-1 from Allendale for mine.
