I need a Mikuni flat slide ultrasonically cleaned and checked out. Have recently been quoted 8/10 weeks
Does anyone have any recommendations of companies used?

My apologies, I’ve no constructive advice as I’ve never had it done  Some years ago I bought one of those very cheap ultrasound jewellry cleaners from Aldi. It works well on small stuff like jets and switchgear, but it’s too small for a carb.

Check out Allendale ultrasonics......I have the 6L Cavitek professional and it works a treat
