1125CR fuel pump issue Bit of a ramble but Ill get there in the end Recently bought a 1125cr and it wouldnt start, just a click from the solenoid. As the bike was under warranty i called the dealer and he advised to carry out a few checks so did the following Battery voltage a bit low so changed the battery like for like. Fully charged, same fault. They asked me to put the bike in gear and rock back and forward to see if starter was engaged and it was. They agreed to refurb the starter and put on a better solenoid which they did. Then on start up it blew the capacitor on the fuel pump, after second pump the bike is now ok. They said its because I changed the battery and that caused the capacitor in the pump to blow. Anyone had this issue?

If the battery was connected the wrong way round, it will blow the cap.
