I've searched the forum but the occurrence of "blast" in normal posts is high! Should we get the official V&H jet kit (roughly £100) or is there a cheaper option of buying a different jet and needle? If so does anyone know the part numbers for the ones needed? TIA |

TIA If its a V&H pipe designed for the Blast , you do not need to re-jet . you will lose no power with the VH unless you are gonna straightpipe it without baffle , even then the difference in power will be unnoticeable (maybe a slight very slight loss at low end which lengthening the open pipe will adjust ) plus remember its a 500 blast , spending 100 quid to rejet is madness. . |

I am sure my Blast was not re-jetted after fitting a V & H pipe and have had no issues regarding this. ![]() |

Get some leaded fuel and do a plug chop. At a guess, the most that I think would be needed, is shimming the needle? |
