thanks all for the input and listening to my panic stricken ramblings the beast goes on again.... while its slightly stripped i will probably give it a service with some new plugs as i havent replaced them in the last two years and they are looking a bit crusty in there now i can see them!

Always remember that a faulty battery can still show full voltage but have no amperage , I've known a 12v bike battery show 12.7 volt and not even be able to illuminate a 5w side lamp bulb.

We had a few no shows at the European Buell Meeting in Holland at the weekend. If you were one of them and all paid up contact Ron T and he'll send you your T-Shirt. Small consolation but might take away some of the pain lOl

in 25+ years of having road going motorcycles this is the first time thats happened to me, i guess i should be thankfull! :D

Shame you didn't make it, there would have been three Buells at 't Centrum then. I was there on Friday before moving on to the European Buell Meeting 8-)
